" Kalotsav"
celebration in Mangalore

Mangalore, November 1:
"Artists are the warriors of our culture. Today these warriors are spread apart without the support of their communities" said Mangalore Corporation Vice Mayor
Shri Lancelot Pinto. He expressed his sadness. He was inaugurating 'Kalotsava' organized by Sandesha, Bajjodi, Mangalore. To encourage young talents, we should encourage our kids
to participate in cultural activities, parents should take initiative in helping their kids. There is no win or lose in this activity. Encouragement and support are the main helping hands we
can spread to our children to bring them together to touch the taste of our famous culture he said. Even God is an artist; we are his articles. Without art, there is no fun in our society.
Msgr. Alexander F. D'Souza, president, Karnataka Konkani Sahithya Academy presided over the function. To bring out talents from our youth, these Kalotsavas play a major role he said
in speech.
